Changeover at Wefapress: Max Nagel takes over from Ferdi Späker

Sales expert Ferdi Späker starts his well-deserved retirement in April and is currently passing on his wealth of knowledge to Wefapress® newcomer Max Nagel (on the right with Managing Director Gerrit Beck). The latter is looking forward to building on the excellent work done by his colleague.

In April, an era comes to an end at Wefapress: Ferdi Späker goes into well-earned retirement, handing over his position in the sales of individual plastics solutions to Max Nagel after nearly 40 years with the company. As you would expect, he has amassed a lot of key insights over this lengthy period of time – about customers, products, how Wefapress works, the goals we pursue, the projects currently in progress and the values that are important to us.

Since 1 March 2019, Wefapress newcomer Max Nagel has been benefiting from this wealth of knowledge: during his induction phase he is getting to know Wefapress, the various products and his new colleagues. He also has the opportunity watch Ferdi Späker at work and ask him lots of questions. “I’m looking forward the new challenge and to building on the superb work done by Ferdi Späker,” says Max Nagel, who gained just under four years of experience in sales after training in retail and export. How did he find out about Wefapress? “On social media. I saw the vacancy on one of the channels and read a bit about the company – and then I applied right away.”

A sincere thank-you to Ferdi Späker for nearly 40 years at Wefapress! With his ideas and his work he has made a major contribution to our success. And we wish Max Nagel all the very best in his new job – may he always come up with the right selling points for our plastics solutions!
