We are Wefapress® Beck + Co. GmbH - in short Wefa. Plastic is our material. More precisely: engineering plastics such as PE, POM, PA, PEEK, PTFE, PET and more. We use these materials to manufacture semi-finished products, profiles & guides and individually developed, customized products.

Family owned and managed, and deeply rooted in its home region, these are two of the virtues that have always accompanied Wefapress® - with every expansion, every increase in the number of employees and each and every product innovation. These factors have become the guarantors for continuous and vibrant company developments.

We are pioneers in plastics processing

Take two additional, decisive qualities: inventive talents and vision. The company proved both of these qualities in 1955, for example, when Wefapress became the first company in the world to succeed in processing polyethylene using the press-sintering process.

This method is still in widespread use today – further optimized and mature. In the meantime, Wefapress is active as a supplier to the food industry, the mechanical engineering and chemical sectors, as well as serving the bulk goods industry or paper manufacturers with individual plastic parts made of high-quality and innovative plastics.

Yesterday and today: the best raw materials, high-quality processing

Today we can state with confidence: Thanks to extensive, in-depth experience, a dynamic team, our foreign representatives and state-of-the-art machinery we are manufacturing at the highest quality levels, selling our engineering plastics and industry solutions worldwide and looking back on a successful company history. We are represented at numerous trade fairs every year and offer our employees attractive career opportunities. Plastic has made all this possible.

But it all got started with a very different material: rawhide leather. The company had been using this material since the end of the 19th century to make pickers (which moved the shuttle back and forth in the loom), as well as other spare parts for looms.

These activities commenced in the year 1895. Consequently, in the year 2020, Wefapress is now celebrating its 125th anniversary! 125 years as a family owned and managed business, deeply rooted in the region and endowed with inventive talent and vision.
