Are you a technophile and would you like to work in a profession that is never boring? As an industrial mechanic at Wefapress® you are responsible for the maintenance, repair and optimisation of our production facilities.
Your training usually lasts three and a half years and takes place in a dual system. This means that you are always on the move between the vocational college for technology in Ahaus and your training place.
What awaits you
- Planning of machines and plants and preparation of production and functional plans
- Selecting, purchasing and/or manufacturing raw materials and/or finished parts for the equipment to be built.
- Construction of the devices and their installation or connection to the existing equipment
- Carrying out tests and measurements on the equipment before it is put into operation
- Basic programming and/or configuration of the devices, if applicable
- Monitoring the operation of the equipment and regular maintenance and repair of any malfunctions.
- Regular coordination with the trainer and the direct team members

Are you good with your hands and do you want to do an apprenticeship where you can use your skills to the full? As a cutting machine operator at Wefapress® you will work on the production of precision components and learn how to use state-of-the-art machines.
As a rule, the training lasts three and a half years. You attend vocational school in Ahaus and Bocholt 1-2 times a week.

- Introduction to machines and material properties
- Making and machining of workpieces
- Getting to know a wide variety of machining processes and. Tool groups such as turning systems, automatic lathe systems, milling systems, etc.
- Programming and setting up CNC machines
- Recognition of disruptions in production and quality deficiencies
